Let me start by wishing everyone a wonderful and healthy new year.
Throughout the challenges of 2021, PDiC continued to provide a comprehensive service for the manufacture, supply and installation of Mezzanine Floors, complex Office Fit Outs and Storage Solutions.
2021 also saw us pass our tri-annual audit for CE Accreditation, which has now transferred to UKCA Accreditation following the UK Exit from the EU, this shows our commitment to quality and traceability at every stage of the manufacturing process.
As we now move into 2022 it will no doubt be a year of both opportunities and further challenges. PDiC is committed implementing our ongoing transformation and will constantly review and enhance our services to improve our clients experience when dealing with our company and that we meet all the requirements of our clients.
This will include moving further into the use of BIM technology, having invested in an integrated 3D structural computer design suite, that transfers information seamlessly from our Engineer’s design model, to our structural detailing team. Using this process improves accuracy and greatly reduces the chance of human error.
BIM modelling also allows us to share information with external sources, the benefit being able to create a project fully compatible with the fabric of a building along with mechanical and electrical services, vital on some of our more complex projects, thus adding greater accuracy and improved timescales.
There are more plans in the pipeline and 2022 looks likely to be a busy year for PDiC. We’re looking at new markets, new products and additional new ways of working so that we can deliver exactly what our clients need from us.
